Summary

This Adobe Photoshop plug-in will allow you to save the selected area in another file and its coordinates within the original image in a text file.

Description of the operation

In order to make use of this plug-in, you must select the desired area and go to the File menu, select the Automate option and within the emergent submenu, select the SaveSelection... option.

The plug-in will generate a new image from the selection and will show the "Save as..." window asking for the name of the file to store. Once entered the name, the image will saved and a text file will be generated in the same folder whose name will be the same one that the used one to name the image.

This text file will contain the coordinates in pixels of the position in the original image, the selected area size and the coordinates of the center.

Installation

When you start the application setup program, it will try to locate the folder where Adobe Photoshop is installed and the folder where plug-ins are installed. Follow the instructions of the setup program in order to install the plug-in in your computer.

Once finalized the installation, start Adobe Photoshop and the plug-in will be ready to be used.

NOTE: If Adobe Photoshop was already running, you must close the application and restart it.
